The photographs on this page are minor projects and small groups or sets of related images.
They may be dealing with a particular issue or may be purely compositional.

The group of images displayed at the moment were an attempt to capture twilight. I was struck by the tranquility and softening of colour and contrast at this time. They remind me of when I was a child travelling home from the beach where, as a family we would spend all day. Going home wrinkled from the surf, flushed from the sun with a contented tiredness, astride the crossbar of my dad's bike.
I've lived next to the sea most of my life and I continue to have a fascination with sparseness, space, remoteness, bleaching, erosion and atmosphere; very little changes and intrusions are soon transformed back to the beauty of its nature.
